Sequential images
I suppose these images have been rallied together quite well using PhotoPad v 6.74 by NCH software as I developed my skills using the tools in PhotoPad such as:collage, selection tools and symbols. I believe my skills could be improved in the direction to lighting, composition, background so that the finish is more occupational.
Reviewed Duane Michal's work I got an idea to create these sequential images with mirror. Michals first made significant, creative strides in the field of photography during the 1960s. In an era heavily influenced by photojournalism, Michals manipulated the medium to communicate narratives. The sequences, for which he is widely known, appropriate cinema’s frame-by-frame format. Michals has also incorporated text as a key component in his works. Rather than serving a didactic or explanatory function, his handwritten text adds another dimension to the images’ meaning and gives voice to Michals’ singular musings, which are poetic, tragic, and humorous, often all at once.

The reflection on the work here has been mostly copied from 'the blog information' handout on Blackboard. It would be best to change this to your own words as you have not created a digital drawing. Consider the technical aspects of your work such as lighting, composition, background etc. and add critical commentary and reflection on how this could be improved. You have discussed the technical tools you have used to some extent in the reflection, but it would be best to add more in-depth commentary on the technical process. Include screenshots to show the process visually.
ReplyDeleteThere is no real research here with commentary that explains how the research has informed your own work for this week's task and how you will use this to enhance what you are doing. Please make sure you discuss two pieces of work from an artist discussed during the sessions. Why have you chosen these pieces and how does your own work relates to this? Also, make sure you give an introduction to the artist. Discuss the artist's background and the kind of work they create. Write as much as possible in your own words and include sources to back up what you are stating.
